General Terms and Conditions for AlpenArt Workshops

Welcome to the AlpenArt Workshops online platform. By accessing or using our services, which include the organization of craft workshops for children, creative arts education, holiday art camps, hands-on crafting sessions, cultural craft explorations, and birthday party creative events, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Scope of Services

AlpenArt Workshops provides educational and creative arts services primarily for children and young individuals. Our offerings include a variety of workshops, camps, and events designed to foster creativity and cultural understanding through hands-on crafting and artistic expression.

2. Registration and Booking

• Booking Confirmation: All bookings for workshops, camps, or events are subject to availability and confirmation by AlpenArt Workshops. A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or a pre-agreed deposit.
• Participant Information: It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to provide accurate and complete information about the participant, including any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs, at the time of registration.
• Minimum Age: Specific age requirements may apply to certain workshops or programs. Please ensure the participant meets these requirements before booking.

3. Payments and Cancellations

• Payment Terms: Payment for all services must be made in full by the specified deadline. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your booking.
• Cancellations by Participant:
  • Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event will receive a 90% refund.
  • Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days before the event will receive a 50% refund.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 7 days before the event or for no-shows.
• Cancellations by AlpenArt Workshops: In the unlikely event that AlpenArt Workshops must cancel a workshop or event (e.g., due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances), participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their booking to another available session.

4. Health and Safety

• Participant Well-being: The safety and well-being of all participants are paramount. We adhere to strict safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment for all activities.
• Emergency Contact: Parents or guardians must provide accurate emergency contact information. In case of a medical emergency, AlpenArt Workshops personnel will take all necessary steps to ensure the participant's safety, including seeking professional medical attention if required.
• Allergies and Special Needs: It is crucial to inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs your child may have prior to the workshop to enable us to make appropriate arrangements.

5. Conduct and Participation

• Behavioral Expectations: Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards instructors, other participants, and property. Disruptive or disrespectful behavior may result in exclusion from the workshop, without refund.
• Supervision: While our instructors provide supervision during workshops, AlpenArt Workshops is not responsible for participants outside of scheduled activity times.

6. Intellectual Property

All creative concepts, workshop materials, designs, and content provided by AlpenArt Workshops remain the intellectual property of AlpenArt Workshops. Participants may keep the physical art pieces they create.

7. Limitation of Liability

AlpenArt Workshops shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services, including but not limited to loss of property, personal injury, or loss of profits, except where mandated by Austrian law.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Austria. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vienna, Austria.
